According to the IMD, a low pressure area is very likely to form over southwest and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal within the next 36 hours, it is likely to move west-northwestwards and till the morning of 22 October. It may form an area of ​​pressure in the middle of the Bay of Bengal.

During this cyclone, the wind speed can go up to 45 to 55 kmph. At the same time, the wind speed can reach 65 kmph in the west-central and adjoining North-West Bay of Bengal region.
