Employees Pensioners DA Hike: There is big news for employee pensioners. On one hand, their DA-DR has been increased to 41 percent. Orders have also been issued on the DR of the same pensioners. Under this order, DA DR will be paid to the employee pensioners.
Dearness allowance increased for bank employees
Dearness Allowance has been increased for bank employees as per the order issued by the Indian Banks Association. With an increase of 2.25 percent, their dearness allowance has been increased to 41.16 percent. At the same time, orders were also issued on dearness relief for the period from February 2023 to July 2023.
Increase in ex-gratia amount-DR for dependents including retired officers
Under this, surviving spouses of retirees including retired officers alive before January 1, 1986, who are receiving ex-gratia. Dearness relief has been increased for them.
According to the instructions contained in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India on December 17, 2013, dearness relief to the pensioners living before January 1, 1986, the rate of banks on ex-gratia amount for the period from February 2023 to July 2023 will be as follows: –
