Securities and other transactions may be banned
At the same time, capital market regulator SEBI has also asked all investors to link their PAN with Aadhaar number by the end of March for continuous and smooth transactions in the securities market. SEBI said in a statement that non-compliance may lead to restrictions on securities and other transactions till the Permanent Account Number (PAN) and Aadhaar are linked.
SEBI said, “Since PAN is the key identification number and is part of the KYC requirements for all transactions in the securities market, it is necessary for all registered participants and market infrastructure institutions (MIIs) to ensure valid KYC.”

By writing UIDPIN on your SMS and giving space. Then enter the Aadhaar number. Then enter the PAN number. Send this SMS ( UIDPIN<12 digit Aadhaar number<10 digit PAN number> ) to 567678 or 56161. If your Aadhaar card is linked to PAN, then after some time you will get a message that PAN is linked to Aadhaar.
How to link Aadhaar with PAN
The easiest way to link Aadhaar with PAN is through SMS. Enter UIDPIN space 12 digit Aadhaar number space 10 digit PAN number from your mobile. Send this message to 567678 or 56161 from the registered mobile number. After PAN and Aadhaar are linked, you will get its message.
