Along with this, a positive discussion has been held in the meeting on excluding the promoted officers from the Revenue Board Cadre Allocation Act as well as limiting the retirement age to 20 lakhs as per the Centre. At the same time, there has also been a positive discussion on the demand for increase in pension for senior retired persons above 80 years of age.
Demand to reduce retirement age
At the same time, a demand has also been made to reduce the retirement age in the state. A letter has been sent to the Finance Minister for this. In which it has been said that the retirement age should not be increased. According to the 2011 census, 20% of the country’s youth are unemployed.
If there is so much unemployment in the state then the vacant posts should be filled immediately and the retirement age should be 50 years. Not only this, it has been said in the letter that a person should be given a job for a maximum of 25 years so that the unemployed teachers get a chance. This demand has been made in a letter written by Heramb Kulkarni to the Chief Minister.
Demand to restore old pension scheme
