Sail Employees new pay scale and allowance: There is good news for the contract employees of Jharkhand’s SAIL. In May, the employees got the gift of new pay scale and night allowance. It is reported that a meeting of the National Joint Committee for Steel (NJCS) sub-committee with the management is to be held in New Delhi next month, in which a decision can be taken on new pay scales for contract workers and night allowance for permanent workers.
Decision on new pay scale possible
According to the news of Jagran, after the salary revision of SAIL officers and employees, now the contract workers of Steel Authority of India Limited are going to get the gift of new pay scale. Allowance may increase
There is a possibility that in this meeting a final decision may be taken regarding the wage revision and a decision will be taken on the payment of the amount. Apart from this, a final decision is also likely to be taken on the night allowance of permanent employees in the NJCS meeting to be held next month between the SAIL management and the union.
Night allowance has not been increased till now after his pay revision on October 21, 2021. At present, the plant workers are given only Rs 90 per day as night allowance on daily attendance, which will now be increased to Rs 250. However, a demand of Rs 300 has been made on behalf of the union from the management.
