It has been implemented along with modifying the leave rule. Now employees will have to apply online instead of offline for taking leave. Along with this, now all the leave records of the employees will also be available on the portal IHRMS.
Education Department instructions
Huge preparations were made by the Punjab government. Under this, the employees working in the education department will now have to apply online instead of offline application for holidays. Officers and employees will be able to apply online by visiting the Integrated Human Resource Management System. At the same time, all the records of leave will also be available on this portal. The category will also be determined for this. Officers and employees will be able to apply for leave in whatever category they want. Due to this, transparency will be maintained and the adjustment of the employees going on among themselves will also be successful. For this, citing the letter of the Personnel Department, the Education Department has given instructions to implement this order.
These holidays will be canceled
In the matter, DEO Harinder Kaur has given instructions that now from where the method of applying should be adopted online. All school heads, BPEOs and other staff should also be informed in this regard. Any kind of holidays applied on the portal will be canceled without any rule.
Strict instructions given to personnel
IHRMS is implemented in Punjab Government offices. Despite this, the online process is not being adopted by the officers and employees. Online application for medical and LTC related leave is also not done by the officer employees. After which the state government has now become alert in this matter. At the same time, strict instructions have been given that strict action will be taken against the officers if the leave applied for offline is approved.

Instructing the officers and employees of group departments by the Department of Personnel, it has been said that for every leave, applications should be made online through IHRMS. The application from the officer employees should be recognized only when it is online. If the leave applied for without IHRMS is sanctioned by the sanctioning authority, action will be taken against the concerned responsible officers.
