As per the assurance of the Union Minister, the increased salary of all the employees will be paid to them from July. Their salary will see an increase up to 30000. Also, their salary can increase up to ₹ 71000.

Employees Salary Hike, Coal Employees Salary: There is good news for the employees. They will start getting the benefit of increased salary from July 1. For this assurance has been given by the Union Minister. In a meeting with the leaders on Tuesday, the Union Minister said that as per the wage settlement, the employees will start paying the increased salary from July.

In fact, on Tuesday, the labor leader had come to meet Union Coal Minister Prahlad Joshi. During this, Union Coal Minister Prahlad Joshi said that as per Wage Agreement 11, the increased wages of coal workers will be paid to them from July 1. Whatever is the problem related to this, it will be removed soon. The Coal Minister was having a conversation with BMS leaders including INTUC, AITUC CITU at the felicitation ceremony organized in Delhi.

Demand for medical unfit-female VRS

In this matter, the INTUC leader says that the minister has assured that the benefit of increased salary will be available from July itself. A meeting will be held with all the members of JBCCI. A program will be held regarding wage settlement. The present condition of the same coal industry will also be discussed. In the matter, CITU leader DD Ramanandan said that apart from wage settlement, the issue of gratuity payment from January 1, 2017 including medical unfit female VRS has been placed before the Coal Minister. Along with this, there has been a demand to implement medical unfit equally. An important decision can be taken on this in the next meeting. Earlier, a committee has already been constituted on this issue. Necessary steps will be taken after receiving the report.

11 Salary settlement approved

11 wage settlement for employees can be approved soon. Salary was negotiated for this. In the meeting which lasted for 2 days, the MoU was signed by the Coal India Management along with the trade union representatives. Along with this, the basic salary of category-1 employees was increased by ₹ 12776, while the underground allowance has also been increased from 9 percent to 11.5 percent.

A provision of Rs 8152.75 crore has been kept for salary hike.

Under the wage agreement, a provision of Rs 8152.75 crore has been kept in the wage hike of Coal India. For the first time, 5 days paternity leave has also been talked about for the employees. Apart from this, the payment of outstanding arrears will be started after 3 months, which will benefit 2.76 lakh employees.

At the same time, like sons, daughters will also be kept in the live roster of employees. The wage settlement has been validated from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2026. The period of 10th wage settlement had ended on 1 July 2021 itself.

The same increased salary will be paid from the month of July. Its assurances have also been given by the Union Coal Minister. In the new wage agreement, the tree holiday has been increased from 8 to 9. Holidays have been announced on Ambedkar Jayanti on 14th April. Employees will be able to take medical leave for 150 days instead of 120 days.

Agreed upon

  • The live cover scheme has increased by 25%. Will get 1.56 lakh instead of 1.25 lakh
  • Under Ground Allowance increased from 9% to 11.25%
  • Tree holiday was moved from 8:00 to 9:00
  • House Rent Allowance will be 2.5% instead of 2%.
  • LLTC will get ₹15000 instead of 12000
  • Mini LLTC will be 10000 instead of 8000
  • Special Alliance has been increased from 4% to 5%
  • Total blindness and liver cirrhosis were also added to Special Seek Leave.
  • Daughters were also included in the live roster till the age of 18.
  • Study leave will be provided for IIMA studies
  • The number of days for which sick leave can be stored has been increased from 120 days to 150 days.
  • Coal workers will get paternity leave for 5 days for 2 children

Salary will increase so much

  • Salary of A1 employees may increase to ₹71030. An increase of up to ₹ 30000 will be seen in his salary.
  • Salary of A employees may increase to ₹ 55073. An increase of 20 to ₹ 22 thousand will be seen in their salary.
  • The salary for B employees will increase to 51103. An increase from 16000 to 17000 can be seen in this.
  • The salary for C employees will increase to ₹47330. An increase of about ₹ 15000 to ₹ 16000 can be seen in their salary.
  • The salary of D employees will be increased by ₹ 43775. An increase of ₹ 13000 to ₹ 14000 can be seen in their salary.
  • The salary of E employees will be increased by ₹ 41966. An increase in their salary can be seen from about ₹ 13000 to ₹ 14000.
  • The salary of G employees will increase by ₹ 40924. An increase in their salary can be seen from about ₹ 13000 to ₹ 14000.
  • The salary of H employees will increase by ₹ 40058. An increase of up to ₹ 13000 will be seen in their salary.

  • The salary of special clerk category will increase to ₹ 51103. An increase of up to ₹ 16000 will be seen in their salary.
  • Salary of 1 clerical category employees will increase to ₹ 47330. An increase of up to ₹ 15000 will be seen in their salary.
