America claims to have issued record visas for Indian students. According to the data released by the embassy, the US Embassy in India has issued more than 1,25,000 student visas which is record breaking. US Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti said on Wednesday that in 2022, one in every five US student visas will be issued in India. The US Embassy recently celebrated the annual Student Visa Day across the country, during which 3500 Indian student visa applicants were interviewed by consultants in Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.
