7th Pay Commission DA Hike: State employees of Madhya Pradesh have lost their jobs. Shivraj Singh’s government has announced an increase in the dearness allowance of the employees.
Assembly elections are also to be held in the state this year, regarding this also this bet of the government is being considered in the interest of the employees. Giving a big gift to its government employees, the MP government has decided to increase the Dearness Allowance of the employees by 4%.
According to media reports, after this decision of the state government, 7.50 lakh employees of the state will be benefited. This increase in DA will bring it at par with the DA proposed by the Central Government.
CM Shivraj announced
CM Chouhan announced the increase in dearness allowance while addressing Chief Minister Kanya Vivah / Nikah ceremony held at Gillaur village of Bhairunda tehsil of Sehore district. He said, right now there is a difference of 4% dearness allowance between central and state government employees. Now ending this difference, we are deciding to increase the dearness allowance of the state employees by 4%.

Explain that in March 2023, the rate of dearness allowance was increased to 42% for central employees. Then dearness allowance was increased by 4%. Now dearness allowance is to be announced for July 2023. It will be implemented from July 2023. It may take time from September to October to be announced.
After the 4 per cent increase in dearness allowance, the state government will bear an additional burden of Rs 1,000 crore annually. At the same time, the CM has also given assurance regarding the solution to the problems of employment assistants. However, the CM did not mention when he would get the benefit of this hike.
