He told that due to the low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, the monsoon has reached different parts of the country rapidly. Monsoon rain arrived in Delhi and Mumbai on Sunday. Dr. Kumar told that usually the monsoon reaches Mumbai by June 11 and Delhi by June 27. But this time the monsoon reached both the metro cities on the same day. However, it cannot be directly linked to climate change. Because for this 30 to 40 years of data is required.

Monsoon reached in new pattern

Dr. Naresh Kumar, senior scientist of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), told that this year the monsoon has reached different parts of the country in a new pattern. He said, “Generally, the monsoon is active from the low-pressure area. Due to the high-speed winds in the low-pressure area, the monsoon rapidly reached different parts of the country. In many areas, it rained heavily in two days.” Hui.”

Estimate of 12 cm rain in Rudraprayag and Uttarakhand

Due to monsoon, 12 cm of rain is expected in Rudraprayag and various areas of Uttarakhand in two days. After the rains caused by the south-west monsoon in the last few days, a flood-like situation is being seen in many cities of the country. The weather office has predicted heavy rain, storm and strong winds in Punjab and Haryana on Monday. Light to moderate rain is likely to continue for the next two days.

Second incident of landslide in Mandi in 20 hours

The Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Monday that heavy rain is expected in 25 states including Madhya Pradesh in 48 hours. Due to rain in Himachal Pradesh, second incident of landslide occurred in Mandi district in the last 20 hours. Because of this there has been a sudden flood. 380 roads including 2 National Highways are closed. In such a situation, more than 200 people are stranded, many of whom are tourists.

Heavy rain forecast in these 25 states

According to the Meteorological Department, Jharkhand, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jammu-Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan-Goa, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Heavy rain is expected in two days in Delhi, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala.
