Delhi Metro: Through this new mobile app of Delhi Metro, commuters can now buy tickets directly from their phones, thereby avoiding the need to visit ticket counters or vending machines or stand in queues.
New Delhi. Traveling in Delhi Metro has become easier now. Now you do not need to stand in long queues to get token or recharge or validate metro card. You can book Delhi Metro ticket from mobile.
Recently Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has launched a mobile app DMRC Travel. Passengers can buy mobile QR tickets through this app. For payment, there are many types of payment options including UPI, credit or debit cards and wallets. Entry and exit can be done by showing the mobile QR ticket at the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) gate.
Buy Delhi Metro ticket like this through DMRC Travel app
- First of all download DMRC Travel App from Google Play Store.
- After this open the app and then create an account.
- Now you click on Book Ticket.
- From where you want to board the train and where you want to go, enter this information and then click on Book Ticket.
- Now the ticket price, number of stops and the time taken for the journey will be displayed on the screen of your phone.
- Select the number of tickets you want to book and then proceed.
Confirm details. - After this click on Proceed To Pay.
- Now you can pay through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or UPI.
- After completion of payment, you will get mobile QR ticket.
