MP: DA increased to 42 percent
After a long wait, further increase in dearness allowance of its employees has been announced by the Madhya Pradesh government. Orders have also been issued for this. Under the issued order, the employees of Madhya Pradesh will get the benefit of 4% additional dearness allowance. With this, their DA has become similar to the center. Presently they were being provided the benefit of 38% dearness allowance, but as per the order issued in the month of July, from January 1, 2023, the employees would be given the benefit of 42% dearness allowance.
Along with this, the arrears of 6 months will be paid in 3 equal installments. An increase in the salary of the employees can be seen from 800 to ₹ 10000. After the government’s decision to increase DA, an additional estimated expenditure of Rs 1520 crore can be seen on the government.
Coal India Limited : Increase in DA
On the other hand, dearness allowance has been increased for executive employees below the board level of Coal India Limited. It has been made effective from 1 July. With an increase of 1.5% in the Dearness Allowance, it has increased to 39.2 per cent. At the same time, they will be given the benefit of increased dearness allowance from the month of August.
CPSE: Increase in Dearness Allowance
Here the central employees were given big benefits. Public Enterprises Apartment by the Ministry of Finance has announced an increase in the Dearness Allowance of officers and supervisors at the Board level of Central Public Sector Enterprises and below it. This increase will be done on the basis of industrial dearness allowance on 1992 pay scale. According to the circular issued in July, the rate of dearness allowance will be applicable from July 1, 2023. Along with this, the employees will get the benefit of 39.2% increase in the form of dearness allowance.
Chhattisgarh: Announcement of additional 4 percent increase
The Dearness Allowance has been increased by 9 percent by the Chhattisgarh government. In fact, in the past, the Chhattisgarh government had announced an increase in 5 percent dearness allowance for its employees. An order was issued for this. At the same time, his dearness allowance was increased from 33% to 38%.
Now the state government has increased their dearness allowance by an additional 4 percent. With this, their dearness allowance will increase to 42 per cent at par with central government employees. More than 500000 employees will get its benefit. Due to increase in dearness allowance, the government will see an additional burden of ₹ 800 crore.
Increase in house rent allowance
Apart from this, the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh has also increased the house rent allowance of the employees getting the seventh pay scale of the government servants. The House Rent Allowance has been reduced to 9% for B category cities by the government while HRA has been reduced to 6% for other C category cities.
