According to the UP Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light rain and showers at one or two places along with thunderstorms in western and eastern Uttar Pradesh on July 22. There is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning at some places in western UP and at one or two places in eastern UP on July 23. On July 24, it may rain with thunder and lightning at many places in western and eastern UP. On July 25, 26 and 27, it is expected to rain with thunder and lightning at almost all places. On July 25 also, there is an alert of heavy rain at one or two places in both the parts.
Rain alert in these districts today
- Today rain may occur at a few places in Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Balrampur, Shravasti and Bahraich. There is a possibility of rain in Lakhimpur Kheri, Pilibhit, Bareilly, Rampur, Moradabad, Bijnor, Muzaffarnagar, Shamli, Saharanpur, but there is a possibility of heavy rain in some parts of western UP on July 24.
- Rain is also expected in Deoria, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabirnagar, Basti, Ayodhya, Gonda, Barabanki, Lucknow, Sitapur and Hardoi. It may also rain in Shahjahanpur, Farrukhabad, Etah, Kasganj, Badayun, Hathras, Mathura, Aligarh, Sambhal, Bulandshahr, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Amroha, Hapur.
- There is a possibility of rain in Ghaziabad, Meerut, Baghpat, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Mahoba, Banda, Chitrakoot, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Sonbhadra.

- The minimum temperature of all the districts of Uttar Pradesh is forecast to be between 28 degree Celsius to 30 degree Celsius.
- Barabanki, Hardoi, Kanpur, Etawah, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Ballia, Bahraich, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Banda, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Fursatganj, Gorakhpur, Fatehgarh, Basti, Jhansi and Hamirpur are expected to have a maximum temperature of 37 to 38 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
- Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Agra, Aligarh and Bulandshahr have forecast maximum temperatures ranging between 35°C to 38°C.
- In districts like Ghaziabad and Noida, the maximum temperature is forecast to be between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius.
- The maximum temperature in Mathura and Chitrakoot may remain between 35°C to 36°C.
