Along with this, their dearness allowance has been increased. At the same time, they will now be given the benefit of the new pay scale, while other employees will get the benefit of the fourth time scale. Orders have also been issued for these. An increase from ₹ 1000 to ₹ 10000 can be seen in the salary of the employees.
4% increase in dearness allowance
In fact, before the elections, a big announcement is being made by the Madhya Pradesh government for every category of employees. Orders are also being issued for this with immediate effect. On one hand, while increasing the salary of contract employees, it has been announced to give them facilities like regular employees. On the other hand, the dearness allowance of the employees has been increased. Dearness allowance has been increased by 4% for the employees getting the seventh pay scale in the state. Orders have been issued for this. After which the benefit of 42% dearness allowance is also being made available to the general central government employees of Madhya Pradesh. DA has been increased from January 1. The arrears of 6 months will be paid in three equal installments in the months of October, November and December.
9 percent increase in dearness allowance
At the same time, orders have been issued to increase the dearness allowance of the employees getting the sixth pay scale. Under the order issued by the Finance Department, their dearness allowance has been increased by 9 percent. On Thursday, August 3, an order to increase the DA of employees by 9 percent was issued by the ministry. Get all the sixth pay scales of the state, these employees will get its benefit. Earlier, government employees were being given the benefit of 212% dearness allowance. In which after 9% increase, now it has been increased to 221%. It has been implemented from 1 January.
The amount of arrears from January 1 to June 30 will be paid in three equal installments in October-November-December, while the amount of arrears will be paid in lump sum to retired employees between January 1 and June 30.
Benefits of seventh pay scale to Gram Panchayat Secretaries
At the same time, the government gave a big gift to the Gram Panchayat secretaries. They will be given the benefit of seventh pay scale. Along with this, there will be an increase in their salary from ₹ 6000 to ₹ 13000. The demand for giving new pay scales to 20,000 panchayat secretaries was being made since many days. After which it has now been announced to give them its benefits. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced this in the conference on Thursday. He said that he would be given the benefit of salary on the 1st of the month. Along with this, the benefit of 50% reservation will be given in the appointment to the posts of Panchayat Coordinating Officer. Not only this, they will also be given the benefit of leave like government employees.
Panchayat secretaries will be given time scale pay scale, benefits of new pension scheme as well as lump sum ₹ 300000 will be made available on retirement. Not only this, in case of an accident, ₹ 500000 and health insurance including facilities similar to other government employees will be made available to them. Not only this, the process will also be started for this. The Chief Minister said that on the death of the Panchayat Secretary, the rules for giving compassionate appointments to his dependents would be simplified.
Acceptance of contract policy
Earlier in the month of July, the dearness allowance of 700000 regular employees of the state was increased by 4 percent. With which his dearness allowance had increased to 42 percent. Also the contract policy was approved. Due to this, the proposal to give 100% salary to the contract employees was approved. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had made an important announcement. In which it was said that the contract employees will get the benefit of salary. In such a situation, their salary can increase from 800 to ₹ 10000.
The contract process for contract employees is to be terminated every year. Not only this, they will get the benefit of part-time pension scheme. Compassionate appointment will be eligible for the same benefits as a regular employee. They will also be provided with the benefits of earned leave, casual leave including maternity leave, abortion leave and health insurance and dearness allowance from time to time. Women contract employees will get 7 days casual leave separately. Along with this, he will get a total of 20 days casual leave. His salary can increase up to ₹ 10000.
Benefit of fourth time scale pay scale to the employees on completion of 35 years of service
Same Madhya Pradesh employees will be given the benefit of fourth time scale pay scale on completion of 35 years of service. Along with this, an increase in their salary can be seen from 2000 to ₹ 10000. In the cabinet meeting, it has been approved to give fourth time scale pay scale to the employees from July 1. With its approval from July 1, 2023, an additional financial burden of Rs 250 crore will be seen on the government.
Inflation of pensioners of the state will increase by 5% soon
The Government of Chhattisgarh has increased the dearness allowance of the pensioners of the state by 5%. Orders have also been issued for this. After which now the way has been cleared for increase in dearness relief to the pensioners of Madhya Pradesh. The dearness relief of state pensioners can be increased by 5 percent. With this, their dearness relief will increase to 38%. Orders for this will be issued by the Finance Ministry in 2 to 3 days. After which the benefit will be made available to them from the month of August.
