Students will get the benefit of monsoon vacation
Like Himachal Pradesh, students in Uttarakhand will now get the benefit of monsoon vacation. This has been announced by Education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat. In view of the problems faced by the students and teachers during monsoon, the decision is being taken to start monsoon vacation. It is believed that the monsoon vacation can be kept for a maximum of 10 days.
During the meeting with the State Teachers Union, a woman office bearer had raised this issue. He said that students and teachers have to face a lot of problems during monsoon. The Education Minister said that according to the standard, education should be held in schools for at least 220 days in a year.
School holiday due to heavy rain
In such a situation, due to the problems of the students and heavy rains during the monsoon, the school has to be closed. It is very important for the safety of students and teachers. Along with this, the Education Minister said that it has been decided to implement the monsoon vacation. Coordination will also be done with the Meteorological Department to fix the period of monsoon excess. So that the leave can be used at the right time.
Be informed that along with the 10-day monsoon holiday, teachers and students will get the facility of 16 days leave during this period. In fact, students and teachers living in hilly areas have to face a lot of trouble during the rainy and monsoon days. Risking their lives, teachers and students reach the school.
However, the DM and the school principal of the district have been given the right to keep three days leave as per their discretion. Due to monsoon and rains, the safety of students in schools also remains a concern. In view of which now the government can take a big decision on monsoon vacation.
