Today, on 24th September, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has gifted 9 new Vande Bharat Express trains to the country. It will pass through many states and cities of the country. The new Vande Bharat trains are equipped with modern facilities.
For the first time in the country, the Prime Minister has flagged off 9 Vande Bharat trains simultaneously through video conferencing. These high speed trains will be operated on nine different routes. This will make arrival easier.
These nine trains will boost connectivity in eleven states Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bihar, West Bengal, Kerala, Odisha, Jharkhand and Gujarat.
Rajasthan, Gujarat, Telangana, Odisha, Kerala as well as Howrah in West Bengal and Chennai in Tamil Nadu are going to get 2 trains each. Indian Railways has shared this information on social media.
These Vande Bharat trains will be the fastest trains on their operational routes and will help passengers save a lot of time. With the addition of this train, the distance of Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Puri Vande Bharat Express and Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express will be reduced by about 3 hours.
Hyderabad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express will reduce the distance by 2.5 hours. Whereas Tirunelveli-Madurai-Chennai Vande Bharat Express will reduce the distance by 2 hours. Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Express, Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Express and Jamnagar-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express will reduce the distance by about 1 hour.
These nine trains are Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express, Tirunelveli-Madurai-Chennai Vande Bharat Express, Hyderabad-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express, Vijayawada – Chennai (via Renigunta) Vande Bharat Express, Patna-Howrah Vande Bharat Express, Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express. Bharat Express is Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Puri Vande Bharat Express, Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat Express and Jamnagar-Ahmedabad Vande Bharat Express.
