Whatsapp Payments: Let us tell you that now National Payments Corporation of India (NCPI) has also started WhatsApp payment feature based on UPI. Now you can transfer money through Whatsapp Payments to any number or by scanning QR code.
You do not even need to pay much charge for the transaction. But to make Whatsapp Payments you will have to add a bank account and we are telling you the complete process of this.
First of all you have to go to Whatsapp and click on 3 dots. Where you will see the option of Payments and after going there you will have to click on Add A Payment Method.
After this, after clicking on the option of Accept and Continue, you will have to click on the name of your bank. After this, select the mobile number linked to your bank to which both your Whatsapp number and account are linked.
After that your mobile number will be verified with your bank account and your complete details will be revealed. Now you have to select your account number from which you want to make WhatsApp payment.
Now you will need ATM card to create UPI ID. But if your UPI ID is already created then you just have to enter the PIN number. If you want to create UPI ID, then you have to enter the last 6 digits and expiry date of the debit card and click on Verify Card.
After this, you have to enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on SET UPI PIN. After this, you will have to confirm the UPI Pin further by entering the UPI Pin. With this your Whatsapp Payments will be linked with the bank account.
