There is good news for outsourcing employees including employee pensioners. Approval for formation of new PRC has been given by the Chief Minister. A report for this will have to be submitted within 6 months. Along with this, a big increase can be recorded in the salaries of employees including pension and dearness allowance.

Employees New Pay Commission: Employees may get a big gift soon. In fact, their salary, pension and dearness allowance can be increased. For this, a big step has been taken by the state government. The appointment of the Pay Revision Committee has been approved by the Chief Minister.

Employees in Telangana had been demanding the formation of a new pay revision committee for a long time. Meanwhile, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday approved the appointment of the request committee. The committee will be headed by retired IAS officer Shiv Shankar. In which another retired IAS officer B Ramaiah will be a member.

5% interim relief also announced 

A Shanti Kumari has issued an order in this regard. The state government has also announced 5% interim relief to government employees and pensioners. In such a situation, PRC is going to prepare its recommendation. With the PRC formulating the recommendations, a major increase in the salaries and pensions of employees including dearness allowance will be recorded.

The primary objective of the committee is to recommend revised pay scales for state government employees and pensioners. Instructions have been given to submit the recommendation to the government within 6 months. The department has also been directed to allocate funds and staff to ensure smooth functioning of the PRC.

70% increase in salary of employees in 9 years 

Let us tell you that the assurance was given by the Chief Minister to the government employee pensioners during a brief discussion in the Assembly in August this year. In which Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao had said that PRC approval would be given soon.

Along with this, the state government is also committed to distribute the benefits of the economic development of the state among all sections including employees. Employees will soon get its benefits. Let us tell you that under the next PRC, the salary of employees has been increased by 70% in 9 years by the VRS government.

The recommendation made in the Pay Revision Commission was made effective from 1 July 2018 and the government is going to implement the new pay scales for the employees from 1 July 2023. Although the government had given notional benefits to the employees from 1 July 2018 after the previous PRC, the cash benefits were implemented from 1 April 2021. The Commission has been instructed to submit its reports every six months.

In such a situation, along with giving the benefits of regularization to the employees, some important announcements can be made for the outsourcing employees including increase in salary, pension and dearness allowance.

The government is actively considering bringing Anganwadi teachers under the purview of the Pay Revision Commission. Although this will be an additional burden on the state treasury, employees may get benefits from it.
