India-Pakistan Match– There will be a match between India and Pakistan in the Cricket World Cup tomorrow i.e. on 14th October. In view of the crowd of cricket lovers going to watch the match, Railways has decided to run a special train.

Cricket World Cup 2023: Indian Railways has decided to run a pair of special trains for the cricket match to be held between India and Pakistan at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This high-profile match between India and Pakistan will take place on 14 October. Even before this, Railways had announced to run a pair of special trains for the match. After the booking of trains going to and from Mumbai-Ahmedabad is full, now the Railways has to run a pair of special trains. Flight prices have become expensive due to this world cricket match to be held in Ahmedabad.

According to a Moneycontrol report, Western Railways said that in view of the crowd of people watching the India-Pakistan cricket match to be held on October 14, one more pair of special trains will be run between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. According to Railways, booking of special trains with more than 1,500 seats has started from today i.e. October 13. Booking can be done through all reservation counters and IRCTC website.

Time Table:

In a statement issued by Western Railways, it was said that the Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad special train will leave from Mumbai Central at 9.30 pm on Friday, October 13. This train will reach Ahmedabad at 5.30 am the next day. Similarly, in the return direction, Ahmedabad-Mumbai Central special train will leave Ahmedabad at 4 am on Sunday and will reach Mumbai Central at 12:10 pm on the same day.

‘Special fare’ will be charged for the train. The special train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, sleeper and general category coaches. The train will stop at Dadar, Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat and Vadodara stations.

Booking was completed within 20 minutes.

Western Railway had earlier also announced to run a pair of special trains. Booking for these trains running between Mumbai to Ahmedabad and Ahmedabad to Mumbai was opened on October 12. Just 20 minutes after the booking started, all the seats of both the trains were booked.

High level security arrangements

In view of the India-Pakistan match, high level security arrangements have been made in Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik said that apart from over 7,000 police personnel, around 4,000 home guards will be deployed for stadium security and to maintain law and order in communally sensitive areas of the city during the match.
