Senior Citizens FD Return: Now the bank is offering an attractive rate of 9.45% per annum to senior citizens on fixed deposits invested for 701 days, while for general citizens, returns of 8.95% per annum for the same period will be given.

Senior Citizens FD Return: Unity Small Finance Bank Limited has increased its interest rates offered on Fixed Deposit on selected tenures. These rates are applicable for deposits less than Rs 2 crore from October 9, 2023. Along with this, the returns given to senior citizens will also increase.

Now the bank is offering senior citizens an attractive rate of 9.45% per annum on fixed deposits invested for 701 days, while for general citizens, returns of 8.95% per annum for the same period will be given.

Unity Bank will continue to offer interest

rate of 9.50% per annum to senior citizens and 9.00% per annum to general investors for a period of 1001 days.

Additionally, for tenures of 181 – 201 days and 501 days, Unity Bank offers interest rates of 9.25% per annum to senior citizens and 8.75% per annum to general investors.

New FD rates of the bank

The bank offers interest rates between 4.5% to 9% on FD for regular consumers. At the same time, the bank currently offers interest rates of 4.5% to 9.5% per annum to senior citizens on deposits maturing in seven days to ten years.

Bank of Baroda also increased the interest rates.

Bank of Baroda has increased the interest rates on Fixed Deposit (FD) rates by up to 50 basis points (BPS) for various tenures up to 3 years. These rates are applicable for deposits less than ₹2 crore from October 9, 2023.

Meanwhile, private lenders Yes Bank and HDFC Bank have cut fixed deposit interest rates on select tenures for deposits below ₹2 crore. IndusInd Bank and Punjab and Sindh Bank have also revised the FD interest rates on their FDs in October 2023.
