New Delhi. The wait for salary hike of the employees of Infosys, the country’s second largest IT company, is about to end. Actually, the company has officially announced that they will increase the salary of the employees on November 1. This news was shared by the company’s Chief HR Officer Shaji Mathew during the town hall meeting. This step has been taken by the company after postponing its annual salary hike for the last few months.

It is worth noting that in Infosys, it is customary to give annual salary hike for employees below senior management in April. Salaries of other people in companies increase in July. This year, the company had postponed the salary increase due to business optimization undertaken to overcome the adverse conditions in the industry.

During an investor call after the earnings report, Infosys Chief Financial Officer Nilanjan Roy said that the decision to delay the salary hike was taken to remove inefficiencies within the company. He said that due to these steps the company’s margin has improved by a significant 50 basis points.

Infosys Q2 Results: Profit increased by 3 percent to Rs 6212 crore.

Let us tell you that Infosys released the results of the second quarter of the current financial year on Thursday, October 12, 2023. The company said that its net profit in the second quarter increased by 3 percent to Rs 6,212 crore. The company’s consolidated revenue increased by 7 percent to Rs 38,994 crore in the September quarter.
