Delhi Nursery Admission 2024 Important Documents & Dates: Admission of children in nursery schools of Delhi is a complex and lengthy process. Every year, preparations are made on a large scale for this process. For this year’s admission, the Directorate of Education Delhi has announced the dates from the start of registration to the rest of the process.
As soon as the link opens, parents will fill the form for admission of their child. Applications will start from 23rd November. Before this, let us collect some important information about admission. Like which documents will be required and what are the important dates.
Get these documents ready
Parents will need these documents while filling the form of Delhi Nursery Admission 2024. It would be better if you arrange them in advance.
- Passport size photo of child
- Passport size photograph of parent or guardian
- family photo
- child’s birth certificate
- child’s aadhar card
- EWS Certificate (if applicable)
- Ration/Smart Card issued in the name of either parent containing details of the child (optional)
- Last electricity bill or MTNL telephone bill submitted (should be in the name of mother or father)
- Residence proof (some schools ask for this)
- Vaccination Certificate, Health Certificate
- Sibling ID card, fee receipt (if brother or sister is in the same school)
- If you are a single parent then prove it (they ask for some space).

Registration start date – 23 November 2023
Last date of registration – 15 December 2023
Last date for uploading child details – 29 December 2023
Last date for uploading marks obtained by applicants – 5 January 2024
Date of release of first list – 12 January 2024
Date for solving problems and complaints of parents – 13 to 22 January 2024
Date of release of second merit list – 29 January 2024
Last date for displaying the remaining list – 21 February 2024
Closing date of admission – 8 March 2024.
