Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that the Center has increased the DA for government employees from 42 percent to 46 percent. Keeping this decision in mind, the Haryana government has also decided to increase DA by four percent before Diwali.
DA will be applicable from July 1
The Chief Minister said that the state government employees will get increased DA from July 1, 2023. About 3.5 lakh employees in Haryana will benefit from this decision. Khattar was addressing the media here on the occasion of completion of nine years of his government. During this, he mentioned the welfare steps taken by his government.

CM Manohar Lal Khattar has said in a tweet that in order to provide benefits to farmers, poor and deprived people, along with increasing the income limit to ₹ 1,80,000, the social security pension was increased from ₹ 1,000 to ₹ 2,750 per month. In 2014, the annual income limit of BPL was ₹1,20,000.

Central government has also increased DA
The central government has also recently increased the dearness allowance of employees by 4 percent. From now on, all central government employees will get dearness allowance at the rate of 46 percent. Earlier, central government employees used to get dearness allowance at the rate of 42 percent.
DA is increased twice a year
Let us tell you that dearness allowance is increased twice a year by the central and state governments. The first increase is made in January and the second increase is made in July. About 52 lakh employees and 60 lakh pensioners of the country get its benefit.
