New orders have been given by the Uttar Pradesh government on the retirement of police personnel. Staff police personnel who have crossed the age of 50 years will be given compulsory retirement. An order has been made for this. UP Police will start the process of screening these police personnel and giving them compulsory retirement.

New order on retirement of employees

On behalf of ADG Establishment Sanjay Singhal, orders have been sent to all IG Ranges, ADG John, all 7 Police Commissioners as well as all police departments. It was clarified in the order that such employees who have completed 50 years of age or above and whose track record is not correct. He will be given compulsory retirement. Orders have been issued to give the list of such policemen by 30th November.

It will be mandatory to send the list of such policemen to PAC by 20th November. The government has decided to give forced retirement to police personnel over the years with the aim of improving law and order in the state. Earlier, it was announced by CM Yogi that those officers or personnel who do not have the ability to take decisions will be removed. In his place a bright officer will be given the responsibility.

In such a situation, the track records of policemen above 50 years of age will be checked. Along with this, after checking their track records, the list of policemen will be sent to the headquarters for compulsory retirement of all the officers on the prescribed date. If any corrupt policeman is found in the report, he will be forcibly retired. The decision for the screening process will be taken on the basis of information about assessment, working capacity, qualifications, character and behavior.
