Jeevan Pramaan Patra
Pensioners and people above 80 years of age can also now submit their Life Certificate (Jeevan Pramaan Patra) to continue receiving their pension. These pensioners have time till 30 November 2023 to submit their annual life certificate for pension. If they do not deposit it then they will not get pension.
Super senior pensioners have time from 1 October to 30 November 2023 to submit the life certificate. For senior citizens aged between 60 to 80 years, the time is from 1 November to 30 November 2023.
IDBI Special FD
According to the bank’s website, IDBI Bank has extended the validity date of special FD called Amrit Mahotsav FD by 375 days and 444 days. The deadline for these special fixed deposits has been extended from October 31, 2023 to November 30.
According to the website, the festive offer of ‘Amrit Mahotsav Callable FD’ has been extended for 375 days and 444 days till November 30, 2023.
Amrit Mahotsav FD 444 Days
The bank offers an interest rate of 7.15% to regular, NRE and NRO customers under the 444 days Amrit Mahotsav FD scheme. The bank gives 7.65% interest to senior citizens. Also, premature withdrawal of money and closure of the scheme can also be done.
Amrit Mahotsav FD 375 days
The bank gives 7.65% interest to old people. The bank offers an interest rate of 7.10% under the 375 days Amrit Mahotsav FD scheme to regular, NRE and NRO customers. Also, premature withdrawal of money and closure of the scheme can also be done.
Latest IDBI Bank FD Interest Rates
IDBI Bank’s fixed deposit interest rates range from 3% to 6.80% for general citizens and 3.50% to 7.30% for senior citizens for FD tenure between 7 days to 10 years. Rates are effective from September 15, 2023.
Punjab and Sindh
Punjab and Sindh have launched new fixed deposit schemes named PSB Dhan Lakshmi, PSB Savings Plus and these are valid only till November 30, 2023.
Under HDFC Bank’s Senior Citizen Care FD
scheme, an additional 0.25 percent interest rate is offered to senior citizen investors. This premium is in addition to the existing premium of Rs 0.50 offered to senior investors on FD accounts. Therefore, investors in the Senior Citizen Citizen Care FD program get an overall interest of 0.75% more than regular customers. This FD will also close in November.
