- First of all, you have to login to the uidai.gov.in website of UIDAI, the organization issuing Aadhaar.
- After this, download the form by clicking on ‘Enrollment and Update Forms’ in the My Aadhaar section.
- Take a printout of this form, fill your details in it and submit it at the nearest Aadhaar service center.
- Here the form will be verified and your new photo will be clicked as well as the iris scan will be done.
- After this, you will be charged a fee along with GST. This fee is Rs 100.
- After the process is completed, you will get a URN number. With which you will be able to track the Aadhaar card.
How to track Aadhaar update status
It takes 30 to 90 days to change the photo. In such a situation, if you want to track the Aadhaar update status, then you will need the URN number written on the slip. With the help of this number, you will be able to track it on the UIDAI website.
