If your name has been wrongly printed in your Aadhaar, then you can also update it by following some easy online steps sitting at home.
Online name change process
To update the name in Aadhaar card, first of all you have to visit the official website of UIDAI at uidai.gov.in. After this a website will open in front of you. On the home page, you have to go to the given option of Update Aadhaar. Here you have to click on Update Demographic Data Online from the given option. After which a new page will open in front of you.
In the second step, you have to go to the option of Proceed to Update Aadhaar on the new page. Then on the new page, you will have to fill your Aadhaar number and captcha and click on Send OTP. On clicking, you will get OTP on your mobile number, which you will have to fill and login.
In the third step, you have to click on Update Demographic Data. After this, many options will appear in front of you, click on whatever you want to improve. Now you have to select the name and click on the Proceed button. After this you have to tick on Yes I am aware of this.
