What is the new deadline now?
The date for free Aadhaar update was currently till 15th December, which has now been extended by three months to 14th March 2024. You can change for free through my Aadhaar portal . However, a fee of Rs 50 will be charged for this at the Aadhar Seva Kendra.

How will the documents be submitted online?
- First of all you go to the website https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/.
- After this click on the option of Document Update.
- After clicking, you will see the What To Submit section. You click on it.
- After this you will be able to see which documents you can submit.

- After this now go to Click to Submit below.
- After this, enter your Aadhaar number, captcha code and OTP and click.
- After this click on ‘Document Update’.
- Then you will have to verify your details and click on the hyperlink.
- After this you will have to select the documents of identity proof and address proof from the drop down list.
- After this, scan the copy of your address and click on submit option.
- After this you will have a 14 digit Update Request Number (URN) generated.
