The Acer Extensa 15 comes as an affordable-segment laptop that features the recently-launched 10th-generation Intel Core i3 processor.

Acer has launched a new budget laptop Extensa 15 in India featuring a 10th-generation Intel Core processor. The laptop uses a 15.6-inch Full-HD display and is 20mm thin, which is suited for both personal and business needs while taking care of portability. The company is touting an 8-hour battery life on the Extensa 15, which should be enough for most people looking for low to medium productivity out of it. Another important feature that the Extensa 15 comes with is the BlueLightShield to reduce eye strain when working for long hours continuously.

Acer Extensa 15 Price in India

The Acer Extensa 15 is listed at a price of Rs 31,490 for the single model with 4GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe NVMe SSD on the company website. The company has not revealed the shipping date yet and the online listing shows that the product is “coming soon”.

It will be available to buy Acer E-Store and offline channel partner stores across the country soon.

The latest laptop from Acer comes with a 15.6-inch 1080p LED-backlit TFT display with Acer ComfyView high brightness feature and Intel UHD Graphics. There is BlueLightShield to cut the blue light from the output to reduce strain on eyes. The Extensa 15 is powered by 10th-generation Intel Core i3 processor (turbo speed up to 3.40GHz) paired with 4GB of DDR4 RAM, although it is expandable up to 12GB DDR4 RAM using single SODIMM module. There is 1TB of NVMe SSD storage on the laptop as well. To expand the storage externally, there are two USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.1 Gen 1 port. In addition, there is a LAN port, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Acer Extensa 15 runs Windows 10 Home out of the box.

For video calls, which are becoming mainstream for both individuals and businesses, the Acer Extensa 15 has a 480p webcam on the top bezel of the display. However, there is no shutter to cover the camera, which is something many laptop manufacturers have started using to ensure better privacy. The laptop has Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth v4.2 for wireless connectivity. There is also a microphone on the side and stereo speakers on the laptop, without any software enhancements. The laptop weighs 1.9kg and packs in a dual-cell Lithium-ion battery that is rated to deliver an 8-hour life. It comes with a 3-pin 45W AC adapter for charging.
