You won’t be able to see the Air Asia India brand while booking tickets or flying soon as Tata plans to bid goodbye to the original branding of its subsidiary Air Asia India. Earlier Tata had branded the airline as AIX Connect after taking complete control. AIX Connect has received the regulator’s nod to operate flights under the brand name ‘Air India Express’.
Air India Express and AirAsia India have taken important steps towards integration. In March, the airlines introduced a unified website, Airindiaexpress.com, which provides a comprehensive user interface that helps users access the services of both the carriers on a single platform.
