Air India is going to provide the facility of ESOPs to its employees. This will not only improve the working efficiency of the company, but will also improve the operation of the company. However, it has not been decided yet as to what level of employees will be given the facility of ESOPs.

With this, Air India will become the second company in the Tata group to offer ESOPs. In 2018, the group’s automobile company Tata Motors started offering Esops facility to its employees. ESOPs was first started in India by IT company Infosys.
