InterGlobe Enterprises Air Taxi Service: InterGlobe Enterprises plans to launch an all-electric air taxi service across the country in 2026. She is planning to start this service in collaboration with Archer Aviation. A statement said that with this, the InterGlobe-Archer flight aims to take passengers from Connaught Place in the national capital to Gurugram in Haryana in about seven minutes.
This 27 kilometer journey by road takes one to one and a half hours. The two companies have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to launch and operate an all-electric air taxi service in India.
However, regulatory approval is yet to be taken for this. InterGlobe Enterprises is an Indian travel group and the country’s largest airline IndiGo is a part of it. Archer Aviation is a leader in the electric vertical takeoff and landing (EVTOL) aircraft sector. Both the companies intend to start full-electric taxi service in the country in 2026.
