Private steel company Tata Steel announced a total payment of Rs 314.70 crore as annual bonus to employees for the year 2022-2023 after signing a memorandum of understanding with the Tata Workers Union (TW). According to a statement issued by the company on Monday, the total amount paid as annual bonus to eligible employees of all appropriate divisions of the company under the MoU will be Rs 314.70 crore.

The minimum and maximum annual bonus payable for the year 2022-23 will be Rs 42,561 and Rs 4,61,019 respectively. According to the release, in the presence of Jamshedpur Deputy Labor Commissioner Rakesh Prasad, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director TV Narendran, Vice President (HRM) Atreyi Sanyal and other senior officials on behalf of the management and President Sanjeev Kumar Chaudhary, General Secretary Satish Kumar Singh, TWU and other officials signed the MoU on behalf of the union.
