ATF Rate Decline: In New Delhi, the rate of jet fuel or aviation fuel has come down from Rs 1.06 lakh per kilo liter to Rs 1.01 lakh per kilo liter.
ATF Rate Decline: 2024 has started and today the domestic oil marketing companies (OMC) have given relief in the new year. Today, the reduction in the prices of ATF or Aviation Turbine Fuel has come into effect from January 1, 2024.
The prices for ATF have been released on the website of the government oil marketing company Indian Oil Corporation (IOC). The prices of ATF or jet fuel have been reduced by Rs 4,000 to some more.
How much will ATF rates decrease from today?
Delhi
In the country’s capital New Delhi, the rates of jet fuel or aviation fuel have come down from Rs 1.06 lakh per kiloliter to Rs 1.01 lakh per kiloliter. A reduction of Rs 4162.5 per kiloliter has been seen in the price of ATF this month, which is a reduction of 4 percent.
This month, the price of ATF has come down to Rs 1,01,993.17 per kiloliter which was Rs 1,06,155.67 per kiloliter. Earlier in November, the price of ATF was Rs 1,11,344.92 per kilolitre.
Mumbai
Aviation turbine fuel in the country’s financial capital Mumbai has come at Rs 95,372.43 per kilolitre.
Kolkata
ATF rates in Kolkata have come down to Rs 1,10,962.83 per kiloliter today from January 1st.
Chennai
Jet fuel rates in Chennai have come down to Rs 1,06,042.99 per kilolitre.
What will be the benefit to the people?
There can be good news for the people traveling by air on the first day of the New Year because the shares of aviation companies can also benefit from the reduction in ATF rates and the prices of air tickets of domestic air companies can also reduce.
ATF prices start coming down from November 2023
After increasing for four consecutive months, ATF prices started coming down from November 2023. In September 2023, the price of ATF in Delhi was Rs 1.12 lakh per liter. Whereas Oil Marketing Companies (OMC) gave a big shock in October by making air fuel expensive.
