In the year 2021, your phone bill can give a big shock. It is estimated that the phone bill may increase by around 15 to 20 per cent as telecom tariffs like Vodafone Idea (Vi) and Airtel are increasing. Apart from this, Vodafone Idea can also increase the tariff by 15 to 20 percent in December or early next year.
It is worth mentioning that these days, market competition is being seen in Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. All the rival companies are preparing to launch their tariff plans by looking at each other’s tariff plans. There is also talk about Vodafone Idea that it may hike tariffs rates in early December.
According to sources, in 2021, mobile companies can increase the tariffs by 25 per cent,
although no company will take the risk of increasing the tariff so much at one time and it can be increased respectively.
Vi MD Ravinder Takkar has already clarified that the current tariff rates are uncertain
there is nothing ashamed to consider increasing them.
On the other hand,
Bharti Airtel CEO Gopal Vittal has said that we will not be the first operator to increase prices but it will follow its peers immediately. They have also agreed that the current tariff rates are unstable.
