Bank Holiday Diwali: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for November 2023. According to the RBI list, all public and private sector banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days in November 2023. Bank holidays include second and fourth Saturdays as well as Sundays.

Bank Holiday Diwali: In total, banks will remain closed for 15 days in November 2023. This week, banks will remain closed for 6 consecutive days in various cities on the occasion of Diwali, Dhanteras and Bhai Dooj. There are some big festivals in November like Diwali, Bhaidooj, Wangala Mahotsav, Lakshmi Puja, Chhath, Karva Chauth and many more.

Banks will remain closed on 10th November due to Dhanteras and Diwali. The five-day festival is starting from Dhanteras and will end on Bhai Dooj on November 15. This year Diwali will be celebrated on 12th November which is Sunday.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for November 2023. According to the RBI list, all public and private sector banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days in November 2023. Bank holidays include second and fourth Saturdays as well as Sundays.

Bank customers need to note that these holidays may be different for some states, while during national holidays, banks will remain closed across the country.

Even though banks will remain closed, internet banking services will remain operational during these days. At the same time, ATMs will remain operational for cash withdrawal.

November 10, 2023 (Friday): Wangala Festival – Meghalaya

11 November 2023 (Saturday)

12 November 2023 (Sunday)

November 13, 2023 (Monday): Govardhan Puja – Tripura, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Manipur, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.

November 14, 2023 (Tuesday): Diwali – Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Sikkim.

November 15, 2023 (Wednesday): Bhaidooj – Sikkim, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal and Himachal Pradesh.
