Reserve Bank of India has released the list of bank holidays in January 2023. These holidays include Sunday and Saturday holidays. Let us see the complete list of holidays in the month of January:
- January 1, 2023: Due to Sunday being on this day, almost all the banks of the country will remain closed on New Year.
- January 2, 2023: Monday will be a holiday in Mizoram on New Year holiday.
- January 11, 2023: Wednesday will be a holiday in Mizoram on account of Missionary Day (Mizoram).
- January 12, 2023: Thursday will be a holiday in West Bengal on account of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti.
- January 14, 2023: Banks will remain closed on Saturday in Gujarat, Karnataka, Sikkim and Telangana on Makar Sankranti.
- January 14, 2023: Banks will remain closed on Magh Bihu in Assam on Saturday.
- January 15, 2023: Banks will remain closed on Sunday in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu on Pongal.
- January 15, 2023: Banks will remain closed on Sunday in Tamil Nadu on Tiruvalluvar Day.
- January 16, 2023 : Banks will remain closed in Andhra Pradesh on Kanuma Panduga, Pondicherry on Uzhavar Thirunali and in Tamil Nadu on Monday.
- January 22, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Sikkim on Sunday on Sonam Losar.
- January 23, 2023: Banks will remain closed on Monday in Assam on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti.
- January 25, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday on Statehood Day.
- January 26, 2023: Banks will remain closed on Thursday in Haryana, Odisha, Tripura on Basant Panchami, a national holiday on Republic Day.
- January 31, 2023 : Banks will remain closed on Tuesday in Assam on Me-Dum-Me-Fee.
