Bank Holiday April 2022: The Reserve Bank of India has released the list of Bank Holidays in April 2022. According to this list, banks will remain closed for 5 consecutive days from tomorrow i.e. 1st April i.e. till 5th April. Let’s see the complete list of holidays.Â
Bank Holiday April 2022:Â The month of April will start from tomorrow and with this the new financial year will start. In April, due to festivals like Gudi Padwa, Ambedkar Jayanti and Baisakhi, banks will be closed for a total of 15 days.
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays for April 2022. According to this list of RBI, in the next month April, banks will be closed for a total of 15 days, including weekly holidays. In this sequence, banks will remain closed for 5 consecutive days from tomorrow i.e. from 1st April to 5th April. However, these holidays will not fall together everywhere.

- April 1 – Annual closing of bank accounts – Bank closure in almost all states
- April 2 – Gudi Padwa / Ugadi Festival / First day of Navratri / Telugu New Year / Sajibu Nongampamba (Chairoba) – Belapur, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Banks closed in Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji and Srinagar
- April 3 – Sunday (weekly holiday)
- April 4 – Banks closed in Sarihul – Ranchi
- April 5 – Birthday of Babu Jagjivan Ram – Banks closed in Hyderabad

According to the list of holidays given on the official website of Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banking holidays do not happen simultaneously across the country. Many holidays also depend on the notification of festivals celebrated in different states or special occasions in those states.
