Banks will remain closed for 15 days in November

Many festivals are coming in the next month i.e. November. Due to this, banks will remain closed for a total of 15 days in different zones (Bank holidays in November) . There will be 6 weekly holidays in November. Apart from this, banks will remain closed for 9 days in different zones. Kannada Rajyotsava/Kut/Karva Chauth is on 1st November. Wangala Mahotsav is on 10th November.

Govardhan Puja/Lakshmi Puja (Deepawali)/Diwali is on 13th November. 14th November is Diwali (Bali Pratipada)/Deepawali/Vikram Samwant New Year Day/Lakshmi Puja. 15th November is Bhaidooj/Chitragupta Jayanti/Lakshmi Puja (Deepawali)/Ningol Chakkauba/Bharatrividiya. Chhath (Morning Arghya) is on 20th November. Seng Kutsnem/Egas-Bagwal is on 23rd November. 27th November is Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthik Purnima/Rhasa Purnima and 30th November is Kanakdas Jayanti.

Banks will remain closed on these dates in November

  • November 1, 2023: There will be a bank holiday in Bengaluru, Imphal and Shimla due to Kannada Rajyotsava/Kut/Karva Chauth.
  • November 5, 2023: There will be a weekly holiday in banks due to Sunday.
  • November 10, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Shillong due to Govardhan Puja/Lakshmi Puja/Deepawali/Diwali.
  • November 11, 2023: There will be a holiday in banks due to the second Saturday.
  • November 12, 2023: There will be a weekly holiday in banks due to Sunday.
  • November 13, 2023: Due to Govardhan Puja/Lakshmi Puja/Deepawali/Diwali, there will be holiday in banks in Agartala, Dehradun, Gangtok, Imphal, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow.
  • November 14, 2023: There will be a holiday in banks in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Gangtok, Mumbai, Nagpur due to Diwali (Bali Pratipada) / Vikram Samvat New Year / Lakshmi Puja.
  • November 15, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow and Shimla due to Bhai Dooj/Chitragupta Jayanti/Lakshmi Puja/Ningal Chakkuba/Bhratri Dwitiya.
  • November 19, 2023: There will be a weekly holiday in banks due to Sunday.
  • November 20, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Patna and Ranchi due to Chhath.
  • November 23, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Dehradun and Shillong due to Seng Kut Snem/Igas Bagwal.
  • November 25, 2023: Due to it being the fourth Saturday, there will be a holiday in banks.
  • November 26, 2023: There will be a weekly holiday in banks due to Sunday.
  • November 27, 2023: Due to Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthik Purnima, banks will remain closed in the entire country except Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Gangtok, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Kochi, Panaji, Patna, Trivandrum and Shillong.
  • November 30, 2023: Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru due to Kanakadas Jayanti.
