Banks will remain closed for 12 days

The Reserve Bank of India issues a list of bank holidays every year, in this list the details of bank holidays occurring in every state. According to this list of RBI, there are many holidays in the month of June. Banks will be closed for 12 days in June. The main reason for this is that there are many festivals and birth anniversary of great men in the month of June. June also marks the martyrdom day of Shri Guru Arjun Dev Ji and the birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap. According to the holiday list of RBI, there will be a 12-day holiday in many states of the country in the month of June. In these 12 days holidays, the second and fourth are also Saturday-Sunday.

How long will the locks be hanging in the bank?

1. The first holiday in the month of June will be on Thursday, June 2. This day is the birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap and Telangana Foundation Day. Banks will remain closed on this day in many states including Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Telangana.
2. Banks will remain closed on June 3 as well. Martyrdom Day of Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji will be celebrated on this day. Banks will remain closed in Punjab.
3. 5th June will be a holiday, today is Sunday.
4. June 11 is falling on the second Saturday, due to which the bank will remain closed on June 11 as well.
5. June 12 is a Sunday. Therefore, this day will also be a holiday for bank employees.
6. June 14 is the birth anniversary of Sant Guru Kabir. Due to this, banks will remain closed in Orissa, Himachal Pradesh, Chandigarh, Haryana and Punjab.
7. Guru Hargobind’s birthday is on 15th June. Banks will remain closed in Orissa, Mizoram, Jammu and Kashmir on this day.
8. Banks will remain closed because of them on Sunday, June 19.
9. Kharji Puja is celebrated in Tripura on 22nd June, due to which banks will remain closed in Tripura.

June 25 is the fourth Saturday, so banks will remain closed on June 30 as well.

Banks will remain closed on June 26 as it is a Sunday.

Banks will remain closed in Mizoram on June 30 due to Ramna Ni.
