According to the list of holidays released by the RBI, banks in different states of the country will remain closed for 16 days including the second and fourth Saturdays and Sundays of the month. All Public Sector Banks, Private Sector Banks, Foreign Banks and Co-operative Banks will remain closed on local festivals as well as national holidays and local holidays as per RBI guidelines.

Banks across the country will remain closed on account of national holidays like Shri Krishna Janmashtami on 6th and 7th September and Eid-e-Milad on 28th September. Customers are advised to plan bank related work well in advance to avoid last minute hassles. Plan accordingly.
