The charges for lockers of every bank in the country are different, which depend on their size. Recently, the big banks of the country have made changes in the charges for their lockers.

Reserve Bank of India has changed the rules regarding bank locker. RBI has also given a deadline to all the banks of the country to sign the revised agreement of the bank locker with the customers, which is June 30. Regarding which banks have started working at their level. On the other hand, all the banks of the country have also made changes in the charges of their lockers. Locker charges in each bank vary depending on its size placement. Let us also tell you that which banks have charged how much for their lockers.

HDFC bank locker charges

Talking about HDFC Bank, the country’s largest bank in terms of valuation, here the bank locker charges can range from Rs 1,350 to Rs 20,000, which is annual. The bank is taking different charges according to the size in metropolitan cities and urban areas. The charge for a mid size bank locker is Rs 3000 and for a large locker it is Rs 7000. On the other hand, if customers need extra large lockers, then they have to pay Rs 15,000 annually.

ICICI Bank locker charges

The country’s second largest private bank ICICI Bank also charges differently for lockers ranging from small size to mid size. Talking about the figures, the bank is charging up to Rs 1200-5000 for small size lockers. At the same time, Rs 2500-9000 is being charged by the bank for medium size lockers. For large lockers, the bank is charging an annual charge of Rs 4000 to Rs 9000.

SBI locker charge

State Bank of India, the country’s largest government bank with more than 40 crore customers, is providing the facility of 3 sizes of lockers to the customers. The charges for these three types of lockers are totally different. SBI is charging Rs 2000 plus GST from the customers living in their city. At the same time, the bank is charging Rs 1500 plus GST from customers living in rural and semi-urban areas.

Canara bank locker charges

Another public sector bank of the country has changed its locker charges. Yes, the name of this bank is Canara Bank. Bank is charging only registration charge for locker which is only Rs 400 and GST will have to be paid separately. The service charge for operating the locker is free for 12 uses. After that if you use the locker then you will have to pay Rs 100 per operation and GST.
