Video Re-KYC: If your account is also in Bank of Baroda, then this news will make you happy. Bank of Baroda has started a new facility for the convenience of the customers. Under this, bank customers will be able to do ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC) through ‘Video Re-KYC’. That is, now the process of KYC will be completed even if the bank branch is not visited. This facility is optional for the customers.
Must have Aadhaar and PAN card
Video KYC facility can be used only by the account holder of the bank, who is above 18 years of age and is an Indian citizen. Apart from this, the account holder must have his Aadhaar number and PAN card. In the first step, customers will have to apply for re-KYC by visiting the website of BOB (Bank of Baroda). After the submission of online application, the executive of the bank will complete the KYC process by video calling.
Facility will be available from 10 am to 6 pm
During video calling, customers will have to keep PAN card (PAN), a white paper and blue or black colored pen with them. In a statement issued by the bank, it was said that Video KYC Call will be done on any business day from 10 am to 6 pm. With the completion of the video call, the details related to the customer will be updated in the records of the bank. The customer will also be informed about this by sending a message.
In the year 2021, the facility of video KYC was started by Bank of Baroda for digital savings account. Now it has been extended to the traditional customers of the bank as well. Video KYC is an alternative and convenient method for the customer through video as per the convenience of the customer.
