The list of bank holidays for the whole year has been released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Banks are closed on second and fourth Saturdays

According to the RBI list, banks will remain closed for 12 days in the month of July, which includes the second and fourth Saturdays as well as all four Sundays. Banks are open only on the first and third Saturdays of every month, and banks remain closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of every week.

6 July (Saturday): Banks will remain closed in Aizawl due to MHIP Day.

14 July (Sunday): Banks will remain closed across the country due to weekly holiday.

16 July (Tuesday): Banks will remain closed in Dehradun on the occasion of Harela festival.

17 July (Wednesday): Banks will remain closed on the occasion of Muharram and U Tirot Singh Day.

21 July (Sunday): Banks will remain closed across the country due to weekly holiday.

27 July (Saturday): Banks will remain closed across the country due to fourth Saturday of the month.

28 July (Sunday): Banks will remain closed across the country due to weekly holiday.

Let us tell you that the RBI holiday calendar is applicable across the country. RBI decides that in July, apart from the holidays mentioned across the country, there may be additional holidays in some states. For more information, you can also visit the RBI website. All banks remain closed on all four Sundays of every month.
