CHENNAI corporation office gave vague details but gave reference to a private unit who is quoting Rs 1500at his office and Rs 2500 for home visit per head! How to get this done without being looted in this manner?

First investigate why they over charginmjg for aadhar. Is there any solid reason for it. Iff companies charging them any amount for registering aadhar enrollment operators. Find it & should take action on enrollment egencies for taking charges from enrollment operators.

Just calculate the cost of Manpower usage, infrastructure, internet, electricity, other Govt. charges etc…. before punishing these agents. You can take legal action, if they are over charging like Rs. 500/-. But Rs. 50 to 200/- is not an over charge.
An average Manpower cost of a person is around Rs. 2/- in India now. So, an agency, who is giving the services must get at least 15 customers daily to run the business. But there is no guarantee for this. So upto 200/- is a standard charge as per my thought.

I have updated my children’s bio metrics ( Photo, Fingerprint and mobile) on 26.06.2017 and paid the requisite fee. But till 29.07.2017 updated Aadhar not received. On enquiry they (Local ‘Aadhar Centre) asked me to contact after Ganapathi Festival.

However, it is indicated in the net that ‘THIS ENROLLMENT HAS NOT BEEN RECEIVED FOR PROCESSING. IF YOU DO NOT ALREADY HAVE AN AADHAR NUMBER FROM ANOTHER ENROLLMENT, PL. VISIT AN ENROLLMENT CENTER TO RE-ENROL”. Kindly let me know the problems, after 2 to 3 hours waited in the line, for updating the above, such situation is very much disappointed. Yesterday I had gone to Famita Hospital Corner (Adhar Shop) to upgrade my Adhar Number as finger prints are not functioning in BSNL counters. The person took my finger prints etc and charged Rs. 50. On my insistence that he can not charge more than 25, he insisted that Rs. 25 for govt and 25 for the shop. Thus he charged Rs. 5o/- This shop too should be black listed It is in Lucknow in Mahanagar locality on the try junction of railway crossing near Fatima hospital.

Same happen with me but I think its a mistake from govt side.

I asked shopkeeper why r u charging this much then he said he has to pay his shop rent, internet bill, maintenance of computer systems, printers, generators, etc and also have to buy foods for his home.
If he charge only 5, 10 and 20 rupees then it will be difficult for him and his family survive.
I think at his own place he is right, now a days everything is expensive then how can Govt expect someone with knowledge to make Aadhar almost free of cost.
If they expect this then they have to give a salary to the service provider.

Then I asked Govt don’t pay for anything then he said earlier govt promised that they will give some comission but he is not getting any.

In most cases these centres are charging not less than Rs.100. I have a pleasnt experience with karvy which never charges extra. Lucky to have a Karvy centre in my town

aadhar card charge rs 200 is small issue, yes it is an issue.. people in govt offices (i have seen this in govt registrar office) are opening accepting/wanting money in cash on top of the fees (we already pay stamp duty and registration charges) the whole system is corrupted.
putting digital system, using smart phones or enrolling to aadhar card is not progress or development.

This is simply harassing the public, the sites never open in first attempts, all the enrollment centers has to display the rates for the concerned jobs, and has to display the the contact details of the concerned officials whom to complaint.

With extreme anguish I ( a Senior Citizen) wish to BRING TO THE NOTICE OF THOSE CONCERNED AUTHORITIES the genuine difficuklties ENCOUNTERED { ESPECIALLY BY SENIOR CITIZENS} for updating the biometric details of aadhar CARD which has since been made for linking their mobile phone sim-card.
Now the details of the ordeal undergone about a month ago !
I HAD TO SCOUT AROUND AND with BIT OF DIFFICULTY LOCATE ( THE PREVIOUS DAY itself ) THE AADHAR UPDATING AGENCY ! THE NEXT DAY WHEN I TOOK ALONG WITH ME AN ORDERLY WHO WORKS IN OUR SOCIETY. WE WENT AND STOOD IN THE QUEUE WHICH HAD ALREADY BEEN FORMED AT THAT EARLY HOUR SAY 06.30 AM. A sheet WAS BEING PASSSED ON TO THOSE IN THE QUEUE TO WRITE THEIR POSITION IN THE QUEUE AND THEIR AADHAAR CARD no. for the counter that opens at 08.00 AM. I left the orderly to stand in the queue. After taking my medicines and breakfast I rushed back and relieved the orderly at 7.45am. At 08.00AM the executive with a retinue of assistants came and announced that only 30 persons will be entertained on that day as one of the TWO computers wasFUNCTIONING ! He gave the form for being filled in along with the time recorded therein(in the form itself)
for reporting to the centre for necessary follow-up action. i got the time marked in the sheet
at 03.30 PM that evening.
However as i had to update my fingerprint i had to wait till the apponted time. But ALAS WHAT A PITY ! DESPITE REPEATED ATTEMTPS THE DEVICE REFUSED TO RECOGNISE MY
FINGER PRINT ( I got my AADHAAR CARD around 5 Years ago !) AND HENCE ALL MY EFFORTS WERE IN VAIN ! Will the authorisites kindly respond as to what is the alternative for me to link my aadhar card with my mobile phone SIM CARD AS IT HAS BEEN MADE MANDATORY (?)

No oficial or government recognises Aadhar Kendra round thane or mulund.

Sirs,

Aadhar public centures collecting fees abnormally fr.100 to Rs.500.for each correction is true. It varies from layman to educated circles. To rectify the defect the following procedures may be given effect to.

1. The Govt.notification FEE shold be displayed visibly, Readably and to be in the Reginal Language in front of the Centres.

2. Registers should be maintained by the centre with full detailed they have carried out with authenticated records.

3. The receipt should be given to the applicant
after obtaining his signatue. (Each correction with fee)

4. The Govt. Registering officer / power delicated Officers should inspect all centres periodically and send their periodical report to their contolling officer
Periodically.

5. The Aadhar centres also send their periodical report to the Registering and controlling Officers.

6.The controlling Officer should have the Joint Review meeting with Registering Officer, Aadhar centre Licensee and Non Governmental Organisation Members. Then only it will be transparent.

over charging by aadhar centres is one issue. The other two major issues are

1. Misbehaviour and maltreatment by the staff of aadhar centres.
2 Not performing the job properly resulting in cancellation of request and going again and again to the centre which further results in loss of time and paying again for the same job.. Not only that much fatigue to the senior citizens is also a big issue.
I hope Govt can find some way out to avoid going to the centres for change of address, adding mobile number etc.
Moreover it is none of the faults of the public if the original software of aadhar didn’t have the column for mobile number

The private sector is overcharging because the Aadhar Enrollment Centres are not able to handle it proficiently. Inorder to link my mobile no. to Aadhar, I had to take leave, stand in a queue where there are over 200 people, and then I was issued a form, which I had to fill and come next month on a particular date given to me (this date is given to everyone). When I go with my form filled for linking my mobile no., I find there are about 1000 people in the queue. Looking at the queue I go back to work. Is this how Aadhar works ? Before a system is implemented, the Government should ensure how to handle it.

When I call the Aadhar main office, I am told that linking of mobile no. can only be done at the Enrollment Centre.

I cannot afford to take leave again to get this job done. I would definitely opt for the private sector who can get this job done at a price because the Government system is not equipped to do it.

I gave my mom aadhar card for address correction and the centre charged me 300 rupees. I suggest the government to make it mandatory to all these centres to keep a board with prices showcasing the amount for various issues with regards to the aadhar card to make it transparent to public who are been cheated by these centres. The centre which charged me is in khar west danpada mumbai. Hope to see some action on these fraudsters.

It is a great thing that the authorities have found out the Operators who dupe the general public by illegally charging more that what they are supposed to charge. It is good that such Operators have been banned from providing this service.

I went to a IDEA service provider to get my mobile no linked to adharcard, he told me that the service will start after three months.If that is so how are you ensuring adequate survive providers.
Pl provide a govt approved list of Adhar card service proviproviand don’t get away by just sending Beware messages.

Every where you come across plenty of cases where adhaar centres collecting much more than stipulated fee but no ready to take action so please take appropriate actions if any body complaints

IN New Delhi, Rajindra Place near Vikram Tower, certain private offices rendring services related to aadhaar card
and charging Rs 150,- for just biometric update but not issuing any payment receipt and telling wait for one month to
get update. Even after waiting for one month again re-checked, it was not updated so did again same process with
official centre and paid just Rs 25,- and within next 10 days it was updated.
The first private centre may be penalised for charging higher amount and work is also not done. Please take action,

I am new

I was charged Rs. 2/- for updation form and another Rs. 50/- for activating my de-activated Aadhaar No. No valid reason is given. I had to take a days leave to get a re-registration with lot of stress for no valid reason. I could link all my family members’ PAn’s with their Adhar numbers,by simply using the name as given in the Adhar (even though all adhar cards showed only their first name and not the associated family name given there after ,usually seen on the PAN cards!! In my single case, however, the linking could not be done even after giving the single name as given on the Adhar card. I have subsequently given details of how my name was registered in the PAN data base of the IT dept and thereafter the linking was successful. The IT returns wee all accepted and ack letters recd. Still,Is there anyy necessity for corections to be made in either PAN data base or adhar base in all our cases, as the sequence of letters in the names in the two are still different-omiting some part of full name in adhar and showing full in PAN!!There is no clarity on such issues and it is worth guiding the tax payees ,if any further steps need to be taken by us and how to realise it in the light of the present chaos-some making business in such deals!!!

Sir,i am also a victim of this aadhar fraud.i have recently upgraded my demographic information like mob. No.,and photo etc in guna aadhar enrolment center in guna m.p in front of nagar palika guna .and they have taken 100 rs. From me.
And i observed that they were taking 200-500 from our villages’ inocent people.sir black list that aadhar center in font of nagar palika parishad hat road guna m.p.

One new and peculiar problem we are facing during updation of my mother in law “s aadhaar card for Biometric Captured fingers, out of ten, 2 are coming! may be her age is 70 years!, we have tried 4-5 centres of Navi Mumbai, results are same type-not successful in Biometric Captured Fingers test.

In Nainital, Uttarakhand also the Govt. approved CSC is charging Rs. 50 for Biometric update for children at age 5 and 15, Biometric update of registered adult and Demographic update (name, address, mobile number, etc.), which should be free and Rs 25. Please check and do the needful.

I am trying to get my Aadhaar for the last 4year. Except for me in my family my wife and both the children got the Aadhaar..
First attempt – I lost my enrollment no. when I was in Chennai.. Not knowing what next to do..I kept trying to UIDA customer care.. no clue to resolve my issue..last year once again I attempted to enroll myself in Gujarat got rejected. Reason data processing error. Once again I was told to enroll. Once again I have enrolled in July 2017. Status as on date …gone for manual checking I will have to keep waiting how long no one can define.. Under this circumstances, if this time my enrollment gets rejected… my only alternative will be to use agents and to pay as per their demand..IF the software was good enough to resolve our quries Or customer care service was good enough to resolve our issues we will not go to agents…I am sure instead of advertising so much for linking Aadhaar..they give some attention to resolve issues to enable people getting enrolled..

I wonder why mobile operators are instructed to fingerprint their subscribers to validate phone numbers. Verification of original card in person should be enough. Fingerprint should not be given to anybody else, as it is private identity and it can be misused in unimaginable ways. for example, somebody can 3D print your finger and plant the fingerprints in crime scene.
So please raise your voice against this identity theft.

There is not a single place in ahmedabad or maybe even while india where people are doing Aadhar card enrollment for free . Every Aadhar card center in cheating people and charging them 50-100-200 or may be more and nothing is being done excepting catching a few of them .There is no widespread information about the charges anywhere except online . It is ok that Aadhar is linked with mobile number.This can be done by submitting self attested copy of Aadhar card and service provider can link it.
Banks and IT departments are linking same way.
I do not find any reason while linking it with mobile number with the help of biometric verification.
It should not be continued due individuals security reason.

They said need to pay same fee .Hopefully government would take some strong actions and display charges in bold letters in front of reception. This is to inform you that we have been requesting how we should go about for registering my sister for her Aadhaar card who is around 74yrs and unable to move out of the house. We have been sending request mails in this connection since 7th July 2017, but the reply we get all along is that our communication has been registered and the same has been forwarded to the concerned department.

Me Jamia Nagar, Okhla New Delhi-110025 me rehta hun hamare is area me jo bhi log aadhaar card banane ka ya correction karne ka kam kar rahe hai uska charge bahut high hai 300 to 450 rupee charge char rahe hai sab ko pata hai par koi action nahi hota log pareshan hai. aaj kal logon ko khas kar mobile number update karwane ne bahut pareshani hoti hai.

In Howrah West Bengal the govt authorised aadhaar office members charge rs 100 for any aadhaar updation. Why don’t you take any legal action for those dishonest people. Firstly they prebooked a appointment with rs. 25, after that on the apponitment day they say it will take 100 ruppees. So we have to given extra 75 rupees to him/her.

My wife s mobile number on the aadhar is wrongly printed. We never knew till we filed her IT returns and did online verification of the return. Verification was not successful.

I tried online updation of mobile number, but interestingly there is no provision and one have to visit aadhar centre. only.

This is despite a campaign of Digital India.

We went to Karvy’s aadhar centre at Vashi, New Bombay. We were advised they take 30 applications a day in view have to come 6 am be in the queue so that we get our forms. Adhar Centre opens at around 9.30 am.

How can Aged Sr.citizens stand for a long time in queue. She is not at all keeping good health. We live in Kharghar at a distance from New Mumbai..

Over charging without MONEY RECEIPTS is almost in every Aadhaar Centre through out West Bengal. This is going on openly with impunity.
Complaint to UIDAI in March this year met with no response.
EVEN MAIL TO Prime Minister MET WITH NO RESPONSE.
So, government wants this process of earning BLACK MONEY to continue.

In Nagpur there are near about 50 Aadhaar card centers, but from my house around in the 5Km area not a single centre having facility to give a smart Aadhaar card, i.e. in some centers smart card making machine is out of order, in some centers for machine there is no ink cartridge. But this particular facility is available that place is far away from my house. There to go by auto or can I have to spend RS. 300/- to and fro and to pay for smart Aadhaar card Rs. 30/- Please let me know how worth is it?

I was forced to pay Rs. 100 per Aadhar Card at Banshankri and Kanakpura Aadhar Kendra. They told it’s there fee which they refused to give any receipt. Now they are demanding plastic card fee again Rs. 100 per aadhar card of my family. Govt. Should raid centres and do solutions else proactively assign officials to reach doorstep (like polio campaign) to stop such illegal charges related fraud. The problem is, Govt. is also getting share in this fraud and nobe is worried about it practically. Theoretically everyone is giving views and publishing in media.

why dont govt itself deputes anti corruption squads to randomly check them by posing normal people and nab them for frauding, instead of just doing a paper digital job.

I changed my address from Pune to Nuzvid, Andhra Ptadesh. In the Me-Seva office, they took Rs. 25, but in the e-Sava, opposite Andhra Bank they took Rs. 50 for pvc card (color) and for the long aadhar card, they charged Rs. 30/-, in total I paid Rs. 80/-. people from the nearby villages come to these centers, who’s checking??!!

But very sad to see that in other states they are paying a VERY amount.

In Nerul,Navi Mumbai just to update the mobile no he charged me Rs.100/-. Government should take strict action against them and ban their license.

I understand that now there will be no private centers. Only Govt. offices will deal in issuing Aadhar cards

so the Operaters have only one option to get the money from the residents
uidai must fix their salerly and their job
after that if any Operater may be found in corruption he must be blacklisted .

it is fault of uidai, as not giving the proper security of job and salerly to the Operaters

I am in need of updating my mobile number and getting a coloured print out / aadhar card. local centre in delhi is asking for 400 Rs. I am short of time where can i get both in minimum time and reasonable expenss.

i update my biometric from a aadhaar center.he charge 150 rs for the update.when i told him that the charge are 25 rs.then he says go somewhere else in government officials.this center is in bahadurgarh.

This is to inform that my relative had updated her AADHAAR no. for the change of address due to shifting to new place. As per your instructions which is seen now the charges should have been Rs .25/- But the Aadhaar centre in Ambernath which is at Opp: Police Station, K B Road Ambernath (W) charged Rs.150/. Since we were not knowing we gave the money. Pl. advice them to issue a receipt for the same if you can . At least others will not be charged abnormally. Thanks!

I wasted one full day waiting for my turn at AADHAAR centre, Pragati Maidaan. I couldn’t collect enough courage to revisit. I went to Janakpuri and paid INR 300/- for plastic CARD ,updating
bio data and linking Mobile…3 services. NO REGRETS….IT ALL TOOK ABOUT half an hour.
I wrote eml a month ago and till date there is no response yet.
MY SUGGESTION:- Improve your working before writing mail to applicants what not to pay to your
authorised centres.

Even me-seva centres in A.P. charge Rs. 50/- and give receipt for the same. If they are not authorized to collect at this rate, Govt. can cancel their centre’s registration. Why is this not done? Rates for Aadhar are not displayed at the centre. This should be mandatory.

The Govt. authorised Aadhar Centre at 95/1, Khirki Extn. New Delhi (Mr.Aftaab – 9313407878 / 9999137894) had charged me Rs. 200/- for address change & data update and the same has not been incorporated till date.
Pls. take appropriate action against such fradulent centre’s which are duly authorised & approved by the Govt.

The true Indian residents are facing so many problems but Bangladesh, Nepali, Afghanistan and Pakistan illegal entrants are enjoying Aadhaar cards.I had given original documents while I was at Delhi being CG employee though I belong to AP but they entered wrong date of birth and spelling mistake and also short cuts. Almost 2200 I paid for rectification to authorised agent for six times but rejected. My son says angrily I dont want any aadhaar.

Today I visited one aadhar enrolment center at chandrasrkharpur, Bhubaneswar for enrolment of my father’s new aadhar card but they demanding RD. 50/- for new enrolment charges.

MY DOOR NO. IS WRONG ON MY AADHAR CARD. I, ENTERED ONLINE ENROLLED IN MY HOME WITH VOTER ID PROOF AS DOOR NO. BUT IT REJECTED AFTER ONE WEEK. I, ENROLLED AT eSEVA KENDRA TWICE WITH VOTER ID PROOF IT IS ALSO REJECTED. HOW & WHERE I, HAVE TO CHANGE MY DOOR NO. ON MY AADHAR CARD. PLEASE KINDLY GIVE PROPER SUGGESTION.

The government should anticipate that these nefarious activities aid practices will start as Aadhaar was being insisted for anything and everything. Build the infrastructure and system and then announce deadlines. What about PAN — it can even be applied for in a paan and beedi shop — why cannot the PAN card be upgraded — like fingerprinting..! We just put all emphasis on one area…Aadhaar. We will sue the UIDAI for negligence and irresponsibility.

I got married in April and I want to update my wife details. But the gov aadhar center people are not responding at all also a woman in our area took 400 rupees from me for updating my details and then after 20 days she said the application is rejected and I have to re-apply & pay her 400 rupees once again. What should I do now?

Bank Accoujnt is in Permanent Address, but AADHAR is in temporary address. Can it be linked? Can anybody guide me?

Instead of bringing this corruption ti the notice of appropriate authorities by a common man, it would better to ask the agency to display the different charges as fixed by the Govt. including the contact nos. to whom to be contacted in case of any deviation. The display must very prominent. Hopefully this will reduce the corruption to a maximum extent.

Goverment should take immediate action.

My father is 79 yrs of age and bedridden for 10 yrs, more so ever we cannot take him to enrolment centre for his aadhar card. Is there a way for me get him enrolled for aadhar.
