The state government has given a big relief to its 7th Pay Commission employees. In fact, in the decision of the cabinet, it has been agreed to announce a 4 percent increase in dearness allowance (DA Hike) of state government employees. With this, the DA to the employees has now been increased from 34% to 38%. Employees will be given the benefit of increased DA from July 1, 2022. With this, 1 lakh 93 thousand employees of the state will get big benefits.

In fact, the dearness allowance of the state government employees has been made 4 percent. Pensioners and family pensioners will also be given the benefit of increased dearness allowance. Also, the increase in dearness allowance will put an additional burden of 42 crores on the state government.

With the announcement of 4 percent increase in dearness allowance, now the salary of central employees will be increased from 1000 to 10000 rupees. The same annual salary will increase up to Rs 25000. Earlier, an increase of 4 percent was announced by the Central Government in the dearness allowance of the employees.

After which their DA was increased from 34 to 38 percent, while dearness relief for pensioners was also announced. Apart from this, giving a big gift to the employees by the Delhi Government and the Government of Karnataka, their DA increase was announced. Now soon many state governments can also announce an increase in dearness allowance.
