Through the new order, the increase in dearness allowance of employees will be paid from October 1, 2022. For this, the Finance Department has issued an order.
After the increase in the DA of the employees by the Central Government, now on the basis of 1987 and 1993, the IDA pay scale in the Central Public Sector Enterprises will be followed by the DA of officers below the board level and non-federal supervisor. Rates (DA Hike) have been revised. for which the order has been issued. Through the new order, the increase in dearness allowance of employees will be paid from October 1, 2022. The Finance Department has issued an order for this.
It has been said in the order that it has been directed to refer to para no. 4 of the office memorandum of this department. No. 2(50)/86-DPE(WC) dated 19.07.1995 in which the rates of Dearness Allowance payable to the officers holding posts at the Board level have been mentioned. As per the DA scheme mentioned in Annex-III of the said OM, the installments of Dearness Allowance become payable from 1st January, 1st April, 1st July and 1st October every year, which is above the quarterly index average of 1099 (1960=100). Price based on increase.
In order of this Department’s Office Memorandum of even number dated 13.07.2022, the officers of Board Level Posts, Below Board Level Posts and Non-Federal Supervisors of CPSEs following the IDA Pattern of Pay Scale of 1992, as on 01.10. The rates of DA payable from 2022 may be revised as under:-
The average AICPI (1960=100) for the quarter June, 2022 to August, 2022 is 8531. The increase of the link point in percentage [(8531-1099)/1099*100] is 676.3%. DA Rates for Various Pay Categories wef 01.10.2022
DA rates for different pay categories:
Basic Pay – DA Rates Per Month
- 3500 – 676.3% of the salary with a minimum of Rs. 14864/-
- Above Rs.3500 and upto Rs.6500-(507.2% of salary subject to minimum of Rs.23671/-)
- Above Rs.6500 and upto Rs.9500 – Minimum 32968/- subject to 405.8% salary
- Above Rs.9500 – Minimum Rs.38595/- subject to 338.2% pay
The quantum of IDA payable at Rs.2.00 per point shift may be Rs.290/- for increase of 45 points in the old system of neutralization with effect from 1.10.2022 and on AICPI 8531, Board level following IDA pattern in CPSEs of 1987 pay scale Officers below the rank of Board level, and non-federal supervisors may get Rs 15651.75 DA payable. In payment of Dearness Allowance, fractions of 50 paise and above may be rounded off to the next higher rupee and fractions less than 50 paise may be ignored.
