There is great news for the employees. Along with increasing the honorarium, the retirement age has been fixed at 65 years. Now the employees will get retirement at the age of 65 years. Along with this, bell-based teachers will be known as assistant professors.
Employees Salary Hike: There is big news for the employees. Actually their honorarium has been increased. For this an order has been issued by the department. It was decided in the last cabinet meeting. This decision will come into effect as soon as the resolution is issued by the same department.
In Jharkhand, orders have been issued regarding the increase in honorarium and extension of service of bell-based teachers. The order for this has been issued by the Department of Higher and Technical Education. With the increase in honorarium, a big increase will be seen in the salary of bell-based teachers. Along with the order to provide maximum honorarium of up to 36000 per month to these teachers, their salary will be increased by 21 thousand rupees.
Payment of honorarium
The honorarium of teachers will be increased from the maximum of Rs.36,000 to Rs.57,700 per month. These teachers will also be paid honorarium for taking PG classes. Honorarium will also be paid for non-academic work such as Neck, IQAC and internal exams including tutorial classes even during this summer vacation.
Update on retirement age
After the issue of the resolution letter, the bell-based teacher will be known as need-based assistant professor. Their service will be provided by regular appointment and backlog of JPSC and service extension till the age of 65 years. The employees will retire at the age of 65.
On the other hand, while expressing happiness over the salary hike, the employees union has said that apart from Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the demand of teachers is going to be fulfilled by the initiative of Higher Education Department. Along with this, an increase of up to Rs 20 thousand has been seen in his salary.
