Employees Salary Hike: There is big news for the employees. Again a big hike will be seen in his salary. A draft notification has been prepared for this. According to the draft, an increase of 100 percent can be seen in his salary. Not only this, their salary can increase up to Rs 25,000.
At present the salary has increased so much
A proposal has been prepared by the Government of Goa to change the remuneration of the chairmen and councilors of municipalities. Notification has been issued for this, according to the notification, 100% increase will be seen in the salary of chairperson of Las A, B, C municipalities. Presently ₹ 12875 is being provided as salary to the chairperson of Class A municipality. 11475 is being provided as salary to the chairperson of B municipalities while ₹ 10800 is being provided as salary to the chairperson of C municipalities.
Salary will increase so much
As per the draft, the chairperson of class A municipalities will be provided ₹25000 as salary while the chairperson of class B will be provided ₹22000. The chairperson of class C will be given Rs 20,000 as salary. Along with this, a proposal has been prepared to increase the remuneration of councilors of all categories of the municipality to ₹ 18,000. Objections and suggestions have been sought on the draft notification within 15 days.
Proposal will be approved soon
It is believed that soon this proposal can be approved. Along with this, 100 percent increase will be seen in the salary of the employees. On the other hand, the convener of SCM said that the government is giving its decision only on increasing the salary and honorarium of the president and councilors. The bill for this will be footed by the council tax payers.
