Salary of government employees: There is important news for the government employees of Karnataka. The state government has taken a big decision regarding cow protection. Under this, one day’s salary will be deducted from the salary received by the employees in the month of November. An order in this regard has also been issued by the State Finance Department. This decision has been taken to raise funds for the ‘Punyakoti Dattu Yojana’ started by the state government for animal protection.

According to the orders of the Finance Department, the contribution will be voluntary, if an employee does not want to give it, then he can inform the department heads by November 25. This deduction will be done only once in November i.e. one day’s salary will be deducted. The state government is expected to collect Rs 80 to 100 crore from this deduction, this amount will be used in the operation of cow shelters.

Information will have to be given by 25 November
Under this, whatever amount will be deducted from the salary of the employees, it will be immediately deposited in the account of Animal Husbandry Department, so that it can be used for cow protection. According to the orders of the Finance Department, this reduction in the salary of the employees is not compulsory, but will be voluntary. Those employees who do not want to make this contribution can give this information in writing to the head of the department by November 25.

Lay off these employees
According to media reports, before November 25, the heads of the department will not be deducted salary from their account after giving information about this. Group A, B and C employees have been included in this deduction. On the other hand, employees doing D grade jobs like peons, sweepers and guards have been kept out of it.

How much amount will be deducted
According to the order of the Finance Department, this deduction will be made in the salary for the month of November. Around Rs 11,000 can be deducted from the salary of Group A employees, Rs 4,000 for Group B employees and around Rs 400 for Group C employees. Group D employees are exempted from this deduction, in which class IV marginally paid employees come.
